I believe iTunes match only works for songs....

nope, not yet anyway. Plus it's iTunes in the Cloud that would deal with this, actually i think it's probably more iTunes Match. I remember that there was talk about Apple looking into this back in June, but they have to get the companies to agree to it. iCloud is not a personal webspace like dropbox, it's more for iDevice backups, Photostream, iTunes Match and Documents in the Cloud (which is for iDevice apps), tho on that last point, i do wonder if one of the video apps can use Documents in the clouds for uploading videos.... tho i think that may be a HUGE stretch and the API's probably won't allow for that.
