Hi,

I’ve got a MacBook Pro, iPhone 7 and iPad Pro 9.7, which are all signed into the same iCloud account, however, I have a couple of questions.

My profile picture on my MacBook and iPhone are the same, however, on my iPad it still uses a old profile pic? If they are all signed into the same account, shouldn’t the pic be the same?

I have 2 factor verification activated on my account, so when I sign into iCloud on an unknown device, my MacBook and iPad pop up a box saying that someone is trying to sign into my iCloud account, I get the code and all is well....however, that dialog doesn’t pop up on my iPhone, despite it being in my list of trusted devices. Is there a setting I am missing?

Thanks,
Stewart

to update avatar picture on your iPad try doing this:
1. on your iOS device enable internet connection, go to Settings and go to Apple ID profile settings -> iCloud -> turn on contacts sync toggle
2. check that your avatar picture is correctly appears at https://www.icloud.com/#settings page
3. on iOS open Contacts app (or Phone app -> Contacts tab) and pull down to refresh (or hit refresh button), wait a minute, open your main contact profile and you will see that your avatar have been successfully updated
4. on iOS reopen appleid profile settings and you will see that appleid's avatar also have been updated. If not, try to open Contacts app, open your profile, change picture from there, now update contacts list again.
