Hi

I have an iTunes backup and an iCloud Backup. Both are around 19GB, mostly photos and videos use that space.
I updated to 8.3 and wanted to restore from the iTunes backup, didn't work, it was corrupt. Oh well, I still have the iCloud backup. Restored from that, took quite a while, but all apps and all data i checked so far restored (texts, whatsapp, game stats, etc).
However, from the photos, only about 1/5th of them did restore (the oldest one, until may 2014), and the newer photos didn't restore, they are blank and when clicking on an icon, it say "loading..." but doesn't do anything else.

any ideas?

In my experience, an iCloud restore has never put back all the photos. I have just gotten used to it.
Odd. In a number of iCloud restores I've done across a few phones and a few iCloud accounts, the photos would always be restored (assuming they were part of the iCloud backup to begin with).
