iCloud restore not working

So my 5s was having issues so I got a new one. Prior to I did iCloud backup. So I got my new phone yesterday and tried a restore. It loaded apps and pics and everything but it will never say it's done. So today i call apple. He has me redo it. It freezes with apple logo and I reboot and it goes through the restore. Again everything is up but it still is not done. Not sure what it's doing in background if anything.

How long will this take? My wifi is about 20-25 Mbps and iCloud is 3.5 gbs. I can't create backup right now cause its in restore. Also I am afraid to connect to itunes and do a backup cause it's still stuck in restore.


Please help.

Anyone with experience know what to do. Do I wait it out. I don't think it will ever finish. Or do I plug into iTunes and start backing up this phone? I just don't know if that would be smart since this isn't done. I don't know what is missing.
