iCloud Set-up Change

I have to Apple accounts and I recently bought a new MacBook Air. I initially made a mistake and set-up my new Mac with the wrong Apple account and now I'm having a problem changing it. When I go into iCloud settings and try to change the account associated with iCloud it lets me login, but then it states I'm not using my primary account. This is creating a problem as I can't sync properly with my other devices.

Any suggestions on how to change my account in iCloud?
