I am having trouble freeing up space on my M2 Macbook Air. I noticed that my Documents folder, which is backed up to iCloud is 140.09GB and only 28.85GB on disk. That's great but, on a 512GB HD, 28 GB is quite a chunk and I'm trying to figure out if there is any way i can get every file possible in the Documents folder to automatically backup to iCloud and only access it when I need it.

In the Documents folder... It looks like there are random folders and files that aren't backing up. Even inside of the top level folders that have the In Cloud icon. When I click into some of those folders I see folders inside them that are not showing the in-cloud icon.

How do I get all these folder to backup and stay backing up to iCloud?
