Hi,

I've been using text replacements on my iPhone for a while now and I am quite happy with it. Recently I transferred to a MBP and all text replacements are the same as the ones in iOS. This is quite an issue as I want them to be separate.

Is this possible? They are synced through iCloud somehow but I don't know what setting to disable. At the moment desktop and document folder is switched off on my MBP. I also tried disabling system preferences, but they still synced to one another.

What else can I do?

To my knowledge, this is not something that can be disabled. Apple assumes that if you put it one place, you want it to be every place.

So I would have to disable iCloud completely to get rid of the sync?

Unfortunately, it's an "undocumented" feature that has no settings.
