iPod touch icloud??

what is icloud i have done some research but dont understand what it is? is it an email thing cuz one web was like "do you want to stay with your reg. email browser, or move to icloud" but other sites are like "icloud music" and other stuff. is it any of these???

It's an alternative storage device. Instead of storing music, pics, etc on your PC, you store it in Apple's cloud.
