i recently downloaded a freeware app that embedded.icns files into blank files so that they can be used to replace the icons of other files. unfortunately, i deleted this app by accident. now, i can't remember what it's called. i did a google search, but didn't come up with anything. i remember the app's icon being green and black. what's it called?

Glad to see someone else getting good use out of it! :)

I also may have a suggestion. There is an app that comes with the OS X developer tools called Icon Composer. I make my icons in Photoshop (saved as layered PSD files with transparency) drag-n-drop them right onto Icon Composer. Then save it to an .icns file from there. Just to let you know there is another way to create .icns files.
