By tripling the ammount of free space, they will offer the most free upload space of any GarageBand community. The total free space given ammounts to 250GB for current users. iCompositions offers two additional space upgrade programs. Becoming a "Rock Star" (http://www.icompositions.com/upgrade.php) allows Artists to upload up to 350MB of music for only $10 per year. Becoming a "Super Star" (http://www.icompositions.com/superstar) allows Artists to upload up to 450MB of music and gives them access to discounts on Apple Hardware and other miscellaneous products, an @icompositions.com email address, Free GarageBand Quicktime Tutorials, and their own "Artist Website" (coming soon) for $34.99 per year. For a limited time only, artists can become Super Stars for $24.99 for the first year.
In addition to upgraded storage space, iCompositions has released the iCompositions Creations Disc and multi-criteria ratings on all uploaded compositions. The iCompositons Creations Disc (add link to online versions), or iCCD, is a collection of 20 of the most popular uploaded compositions uploaded to iCompositions' Auditorium (http://www.icompositions.com/auditorium), the premier venue for sharing GarageBand creations. All proceeds of the $4.99 CD help pay for costs incurred by giving away 250GB of space. Multi-criteria ratings in the Auditorium allow listeners to provide even more feedback to artists. Listeners can give a 1-5 rating for Concept, Creativity, Performance, and Production which will be posted along with their user name and an average of all four. iCompositions' multi-criteria rating system is the most advanced of its kind.
