Hello fellow mac users.

So i've started to getting tired of my old icons in my dock so i though i would like to spice them up.
So i downloaded an icon pack with both .icns files and .ico -files.
I did everything i should however one problem persisted!
There weren't an image preview of the file i wanted to put onto my icon.
Hence the icon changed into the standard file .ico icon

It simply changed when selected to change (ctrl+c + ctrl+v method)

Into this:

Any ideas what i can do to make the image preview as an small icon so i can replace my existing icon? Any format change or different file type etc.?

I know it's a "noob" question but give me a break i almost just converted xD

Hope you guys can help me, cause frankly i don't know any better helpers out there to help me.

Best Regards

Lucas

The easiest way is to create a workflow with Automator, which should already be on your Mac:
