macOS Icon for home made app

I made a extremely simple application launcher for myself using apple script(i Said it was simple) and i was wondering how to give it a snazzy icon

One method amongst many is to make your snazzy icon graphics however you want, copy it (Apple-C), click once on the soon-to-be-replaced icon and do a get info (Apple-I) and then paste it (Apple-V) into the icon preview in the upper left corner.

If you have a snazzy icon as an image, install the developer tools (if you haven't already), then use /Developer/Applications/Utilities/Icon Composer
