Icon Problems with OS X 10.2.3

I have a habbit to change my icons quite often, and I'm having trouble with the latest edition of Jaguar. I was wonderin if anyone else was having this problem or if they have solutions. I go to XIcons.com and download a set of icons. Then open up the get info window for the specific icon and copy the image. I then open up the get info for a folder, and try to paste it. It doesn't paste though. Any solutions?
