Hi,

I keep all of my files on an external hard drive. I would l like to have different icon size settings for different folders on the external hard drive, but each time I restart my Mac, the icon sizes reset to the default icon size settings. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

Many thanks for any help you can offer!

Harry

Are using ICON VIEW (CMD+1)? With the little slider on the bottom right of a Finder window, you can resize the icon size, but that applies to all icons.

Can you use different icon sizes in another place?

What Mac OS X version are you using?

Btw, you can also use colour labels.

Yes I'm using Icon View.

I alter the icon settings with 'Show View Options'.

My Mac OS X version is the most up to date, to date.

Thanks
