Icon won't change

I just got my new iMac tonight, and I am having a problem changing my system icon. When I go to change it, it doesn't do it; and it says I only have read access. How can I fix this? Could this be because I used the Migration Assistant? Here's a screenshot:

Hmm... I think that might be one of the icons that you can't usually change without faffing with your files. Have you given CandyBar a go?

Sounds like it could be a permission/ownership issue. You might have to fire up Terminal to fix it.

Can you tell us anything more about the file/folder?

One of the few times Repair Permissions in Disk Utility has done anything worhtwhile for me was after using the Migration Assistant. Try a Repair Permissions, if you haven't already.
