This is more of an issue than a real concern, considering that when my PC used to get these issues it would mean failure!

But when I look sometimes in my "Mac HD" folder the icons in the left task "places" bar the icons have changed themselves. Like if the was a folder icon there once, there is a icon of an application of another program there instead. The Folder opens but the icon is not the same.

Should I be concerned, and if so do a clean install of Leopard, and scrub the hard drive? Or is it a small glitch?

If it happens again, I will take a screen shot.

Concerned? Well, that shouldn't be happening. But, I'd say it's a small glitch. First thing I'd try to fix Finder is here:

HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Move that file to your Desktop.
Restart the computer. This will make a new file, set to defaults.
Now, how does it do?
