icons in launchpad still blurry

When I installed mountain lion (clean install mind you) the icons in launchpad looked really blurry, but I figured it was a simple bug and would be fixed in the next update, however after the 10.8.1 update the icons are still blurry and they look low-res. I have seen several posts about this, so I know its not just me. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I had blurry icons for any new app I installed. The solution was to go to PREFERENCE. Choose DISPLAYS. Set the resolution to SCALED and make a selection. Next select RESET FOR BUILD-IN DISPLAY and all should be restored to proper icon resolution.
