icons in OS X

Where are the folder icons stored in OS X so that I can change some folder icons to ones i want in Tiger?

Highlight the icon or folder
Get info
Select the icon in the get info box
Paste the new icon

I think what he is looking for is not to change those icons but the defaulted ones.., I could be wrong. Although the copy and paste will work with almost every icon (permissions being).

the defaulted icons are located at...

/System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle
