I've attached a picture to show what's going on. I think it just started after i installed the security update released the other day. I can't seem to find a solution via google, so I'm hoping someone here has a suggestion.

HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Drag that file to the Desktop
Restart

That will make a new, default plist
Fixed?
Trash the file on the Desktop
Reset any custom Finder preferences

No good?
Log in under a different User Account.
Make one if need be.
Try looking at the same Finder window.
Better?
