iPod touch Icons Now Blank / Apps Still Present: Pics

See pic below…any idea how this could have happened? Or how to fix it besides reinstalling about 60 apps? The blank-icon Apps are still work properly. Thanks.

Try re-sycning your device with iTunes. See if that helps at all. Also is the device jailbroken? It doesn't look like it is.
