Ok! I need some serious help to put this problem to rest.
Im not sure what's causing it, but occasionally the icons on my desktop become unclickable. This symptom is solved by opening terminal and entering "killall Dock".
I've gone to an apple store about this and the genius fixed it temporarily with a permissions fix. Of course the problems came back after i left, but he mentioned me needing to reinstall the operating system if it persisted.
I reinstalled the operating system yesterday and backed up my Data from Time Machine.
Naturally the problem reappeared today? Is there a way to figure out what's causing this?
The symptoms: Desktop Icons become unclickable.
Current Solution: "killall Dock"
