Before I downloaded the wmv (windows media video) codec for QT, I tried opening it with a couple other things. Now that I have the wmv codec, everything plays fine in QT of course and is now 'associated' with QT, but the icon for the files is still for a non-useable program. How do I change the icon?

Its buggin me. Thanks.

It's nice and easy...

1. Select the icon you want to change your file to.
2. Select "Get Info" from the File Menu (or click command-I).
3. Click the icon in the upper left of the info window.
4. Select "Copy" from the Edit menu (or type command-C).
5. Select your file on the desktop and "Get Info" for it.
6. Click the icon in the upper left of the info window.
7. Choose "Paste" (command-V) from the Edit Menu.

That should do the trick. :)
