this is probably a repeated post, but i searched for about an hour to find the info.

all i want to know is what the little icons next to each thread (like the orange or blue envelopes etc.) mean

When you're in a given forum, a key should be in the bottom left hand corner.



In addition, if you're logged in when viewing a forum and threads, this icon

shows that you've posted in that thread (the little white arrow). And over towards the right, this icon

shows a thread that you're subscribed to.

Sometimes it shows when I hover the mouse, and other times, not? There are some threads with just 11 or 12 posts which have turned red though.

But they all have over 150 views. You're right, Oh, Detail Queen.
