Has anyone here had a chance to try ICQ 3.02X? It can be found at http://www.icq.com/download/ftp-macppc.html

I'd be really interested in hearing from someone who has used it, and can specifically compare it to the Windows version (or at a minimum tell me how well it works in general)

I can't try it myself, as I don't own a Mac (still waiting for new TiBooks), but this is one potential nasty surprise I'd like to know about before eventually dropping $5000 for a TiBook. ICQ is probably my most important tool :)

In fact, the only reason I even use Windows (I'd otherwise use Linux full time) is that the best Linux ICQ client is only up to ICQ99b protocols, and so most people I know, who are using newer versions of ICQ, can't receive messages from me while I'm in Linux.

ICQ

I've tried ICQ for X on my TiBook...but I don't like the interface...nor do I like the way it tracks instant messages.... :(

ICQ is ok
but yahoo is better
even better try fire for OS X it combines em all
