Coming from Linux, I've been trying to replace apps with OS X native apps whenever possible. I've had good luck so far, but I haven't found a good ICQ client yet. Fire works well for my Yahoo and MSN, but I have a ton of ICQ contacts and I don't like the idea of Fire grouping everything in together.

What I'd really like is a client that will import my Licq data (primarily the contact list, but history would be nice as well).

Another option is to compile Licq under OS X, but I haven't had any luck with that so far (the native Qt should make it possible but I'm not having much luck so far).

Thanks in advance.

I don't know any app able to do that. Thought your contact list lays on the icq servers. Im not sure thought wether fire can grab those from there.
for the history I see no chance at all.

Anybody got a good icq client ( non - official ) ?
thx
