iCurve, Elevator or just a pile of blooks

I am getting a 30" ACD after WWDC (hoping for an update) and i need something to bring my 17" MBP up to the same height, what do you think is best?

I really like my elevator, it does let my MacBook run cooler than when it's on a desk. A pile of books won't let air flow underneath your MBP, so it won't really cool it. Plus, it'll be unstable.

I like the iCurve, but you only get so much height. Lots of free flow beneath.
