Hello 🙂

Please will you advise if this site I made to display my sister's paintings works as intended?

I've only recently attempted to use WordPress and am rather 'feeling my way'!

Thanks.

I can't click on any paintings. The whole screen just flashes.
-Android, DuckDuckGo Browser

Oh dear! How long did you leave the site to load?
DuckDuckGo is a Search Engine - how does that come into play?

I could see everything fine. Her paintings are lovely. What medium does she use? Oils?
Thank you for so advising and for your very kind comments. 🙂
The horses galloping through the surf is her latest one. Not bad for a lady of 84!
She uses all manner of paint, but I think prefers oils.

I can't click any of the paintings either. Latest Safari on Mac.

Edit: The bottom set of thumbnails does work, but the top set doesn't.

Thank you. That's what I see too - but one can expand the thumbnails on an iPad (with finger and thumb) and they still look good. I'm not quite sure what I am supposed to see - the pro-forma at WordPress seems to have a mind of its own! I have tried a different way and in that case all of the thumbnails DID work as I expected.

My principal aim of asking advice here was to determine in the link to the website worked. It seems as if in one case it didn't. 🥺

I didn't know that! Thanks. 🙂

Aha! "This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad". I mostly use an iMac!

Have you tried my website with a different browser? If so, with what result?

I'll try a different one when I have time and am using that phone.

Just wanted to give you an FYI. All the browsers on iOS use Apple Webkit. Which means anything on Android. While the same company will have a totally different foundation. So, issues won't translate. On Android they can use whatever they want and aren't stuck with Webkit.

Thank you so VERY much for taking the trouble to check this out for me. 🙂

The important thing is that the link worked and that you got to see the pictures. I'll spend some more time at WordPress and try different ways to 'show' the images in different ways. I have much to learn!
