I have an Iphone 6. The password associated with my Apple ID will not grant access to my account. I'm then prompted to enter the phone number associated with the account and am presented with the screen to enter the number, with the last two clue-digits shown. The problem is the last two digits, 94, are not from my phone number. Also, the number is 11 digits, not 10.
I went to the Apple store and after all was said and done, they directed me to go back to the point of purchase (AT&T), to get a proof of purchase, thereby allowing them (Apple) to clear out and re-establish my account from 0. To make things even more challenging, AT&T doesn't have a record of my purchase.
So, I can't back up to I cloud (can't sign in), can't download any apps (want Google Photos for backing up), can't enter my Access ID or phone number (which inexplicably changed) and can't have my phone reset because, according to my neighborhood store, I never bought it. Any help here would be appreciated. My only real goals are to back up my photos and contacts.
