I figured i'd post a topic based on my experiences with buying a new bluetooth headset, just to help anyone who might be interested..
after looking around on different forums to find a good quality bluetooth headset, I noticed a lot of folks were mentioning the Jawbone, did a little research on it, and everything sounded good for my needs. although; 129.99 at best buy was kind of overpriced in my book, but figured it must the one that i'd have no issues with for quality and price.. well, it wasn't true.. it sounded great, and pairing was easy.. but I had constant static issues when in motion, but none when standing still. I did the usual recommended fix solutions, but still static and breaking up on movement was too much. I gave up and returned it to best buy. I decided on another headset, Jabra BT8040 at Radio Shack 79.99, the Jawbone had better noise cancelation, but the Jabra just works.. no static, decent range, good battery life, and a heck of a lot smaller.. so, i'd recommend the BT8040 from Jabra if your looking for a mid-range bluetooth headset, but don't need military grade noise cancelation.. this is what worked for me, and im very happy with this purchase.. just passing this along..
