Hi all...

What are the risks for 'reversing unicode" in Convert ID3 in iTunes 11 ?

FYI.. u can only access this only under "songs" tab..

In Finder when i pull up get info, under the "more info" section, i see different info than what the actual file name is, so i thought by reversing unicode in iTunes, this will match the actual name of the file (artists or whatever).

Has anyone done this? How good is it? must check Translate check-box first,

I also have files with Chinese characters as fie name. I guess i'd have to under mp3 tag editor for that. If i could do the first part in iTunes, the rest would be easy. since there all n my library anyway.

I'm getting "Unknown" songs, and album art blank, presumably because of this. even after using iTunes match (which by the way, not all have the "cloud") yet iTunes doesn't upload anything more when i go to update, which means it must be ok....

However, i also do see, and probably in relation, if i try and pull up "Get info" when viewing by "Song" i get an error

"The item you are tying to edit has not been processed by iTunes Match, any changes you make could be lost"

Is this not good ?
