Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but it's a simple "Nope". The adapter you've linked is designed to allow an IDE drive to attach to SATA, not the other way around.

You'll need to either find a native IDE burner (which a quick Google finds pretty much nonexistent), add an internal SATA card or go external.

Actually, I believe you can use the 2 extra SATA ports underneath the optical drive bay (behind the fan assembly) for a SATA Blu-Ray burner. These 2 ports are in addition to those used for the 4 hard drive bays.

But the ports won't work under Windows I believe. So if you're OS X only, it should work.

But don't quote me on all that, as I haven't done it myself. Perhaps someone else could chime in to confirm.
