It's not a real SCSI conector, Apple just used that connector as it's reliable for hot swapping. the drive wont be detected in a real SCSI device. These Caddies are also for Xserve RAIDs which are 100% IDE and have no SCSi controllers at all.

It's just a pass-through, same applies to the Fibre-Channel connector used in the SATA based G5 and Intel versions of the caddies.
 
Sell them, they have value to people wanting to add more drives to an Xserve RAID or G4 without paying loads for one with an apple branded drive already in it.
