Here's what I'm thinking:

* FileVault for my Mac OS X partition
* Bitlocker for my Bootcamp partition

My MBP does not have a TPM module, so I'll have to have a USB key. But in the event my computer is ever stolen (I carry it in a case and would likely have my USB key in there too) it could be vulnerable. So how about...

* Enable Bitlocker, key file goes on USB
* Copy key file to Mac OS X partition (where it'll be protected by FileVault)
* Delete key from USB stick
* Whenever I need to use Windows, copy key back to the USB stick and use it

Do you think this would work, and are there any potential pitfalls I should be aware of?

Why on earth would you want to do that? You give up quite some security if you place the bitlocker key on the very machine you want to protect? It could work, if the key is properly written, but make sure to export the BL key from BL to another USB key as a backup and print out the key and put it in a safe place. If the BL Key is gone, your data stays encrypted until eternity (or until 2050 when compute power can crack it with brute force within 10 minutes)
