I know this is a longshot, but I think it'd be a good idea for those with an iTouch and iPhone.

Basically, I was thinking that someone could develop an app that would let the iPhone and the iTouch connect. And when the iPhone rings, it would tell the iTouch, which would pause your music and play some sort of notification sound (be it a telephone ring, or user defined)

Just an idea, thought I'd share :)

Or better still, for the iPhone to send Growl notifications to paired computers, so that you can see incoming calls with the Caller ID and Address Book lookup on your Mac...

why not just use the iPhone as an iPod, which pauses music when you get a call?!?

Because some people might not want to use their iPhone as a music player as this will seriously decrease your battery :p
Although this would probably be more useful with an iPhone and an iPod Classic (which is a more likely combination) however I dont' see a way for the two to connect, the iTouch has bluetooth and wi-fi though...

That'd be cool! :D
