I don't have an iPhone 4 yet, but does anyone have a pack of hot dogs they could touch a hot dog against the left seam bridging the two pieces of metal to see if the signal degrades? It may sound silly, but it might have some meaning.

What about a sausage? Would a sausage work? Or does it have to be a hot dog?

Does it have to be kosher? Or just regular?

EDIT: Lol! komiothebeat just beat me to it!

This was one of the dumbest sounding things Ive heard all day so of course I tried it out and it does nothing, now im feeding the hotdog to my dogs

Still frozen? Room temp? Microwaved? Grilled?? Lol

No sure how this is different than a hand or finger making the connection.

It was a valid idea :( Not as silly as using a hotdog as a stylus at least.

haha I see where you were coming from but just read the post and it sounds pretty ridiculous, but I cant really say that since i just put a hotdog on my iphone

I can't believe I actually tried this, but I cut a hot dog in half (to get a flat side) and put it against the seam. My signal dropped off almost immediately.

Theory proven: not as silly after all.

My iPhone has a wiener, it's O-S-C-A-R... I hold it next to the iPhone to try and loose some bars...

Anyone willing to try it with a rubber dong and see if there is still an issue?

I understand the logic behind this, what with the hotdog and sausage styluses... but it's just hysterical to think about people all over america rubbing tubes of processed meat on their shiny (expensive) new devices.

Lol, exactly! Never intended this thread to be hilarious, but what you mentioned is :p
