I have an iphone4 which was jailbroken 6 months ago version 4.3.2.

Just recently my touchscreen has apparently become super sensitive.

When I try to enter a character, I must quickly poke or else I'll get 2 letters.

Also when selecting an icon to bring up an app, if I'm just a little slow, the giggling appears.

If I want to delete a mistyped character and hold the delete button just a little long, it will start deleting everything on the line and continue until I touch the screen again.

Oh one last thing, the entire screen seems to show a slightly larger screen to that the descriptions of the icons in the row nearest the home button cannot be seen.

If you have any suggestions or recommendations to fix this , please let me know. Thanks in advance

Restore it and set it up as a new phone. Then re-jailbreak if you must. Sounds like a software problem, not so much a screen problem.
