Ideas for the Mac Mini.

So I've been thinking about what apple could do to improve on the mac mini. My idea is they should make it into the whole computer/media center thing(like I think they will) as well as making it great to play mac games. If they made it a computer/media center/gaming system that connected to your tv and maybe started selling controllers, they would have a pretty hot item on their hands. To me, xbox/ps2 seem pointless. A gaming system as powerful as those should be able to handle more.

What do you guys think should happen with the mac mini?

the TV thing may well be around the corner, but to pump all that R & D into a gaming system would be suicide for Apple, they already toyed in the market with the Pippin years ago.

Gotta agree with you.
They might add an iPod dock, make it into a stereo, and extreme possibility buy Elgato and incorporate a TV tuner, but I doubt it.
More likely is to give the mini an IR port and a remote and stick Front Row on it.
No way are they ready to make it a Media Centre, yet.
