Ideas for website? (purpose is to be part of my college app)

Hi,

I'm a current junior in high school (actually just finished Junior year) and have decided to start a summer project. I plan on creating/coding a website from scratch as a part of my college application.

What are some website ideas that might be good for this type of project. In other words, what are some of the things the website should have/do?
