Here's my problem:
I was snooping around with Spotlight to find extraneously large files and folders and found a log file that was about 9GB. I searched around various forums for threads refferencing this lof file (Log 9? can't rememeber) and figured out it was storing a log of various error messages, growing huge rather than cling itself.
I should have saved the name and location before I deleted it beacause of course now I don't know what it was, and, of course, I've now encountered a problem.
I have copies of both Guitar Hero III and Frets of Fire, both of which worked before the log file purge. Now when I try to launch them from the dock the bounce a couple times and just sit there.
My questions are, does what I did set off any alrams with anyone about what I can do to fix it, and if not, is there a program to help me track down something that's missing, something I should not have deleted?
...or should I just get set on an OS reinstall to recover my game-play-ability?
Thanks,
J
