I have a bunch of photos that a friends has given me from a recent trip that I want to import into my Photos app, however, the problem is I had previously sent them some of my photos taken on my iPhone which have since synced back by iCloud. I want to be able to identify and delete the photos in this folder that I have taken with my iPhone 6 before I import all of them to prevent duplicates. Anyone know if this is possible? At first I thought I could just check the 'Get Info' for each photo but we both have iPhone 6's and it does not seem possible to tell which individual iPhone has taken the photo.

I found an app in the Appstore to remove duplicates, worked fine in the free version.

never mind the "Please upgrade to the full version" notices if this is a one-time operation, I would consider buying it if I was going to do this more often.
