Hi

I would like to create an app that uses incoming call as a trigger. Meaning that once there's an incoming call (user has not asnwered it yet), the app will be notified.
I have found this:
http://developer.apple.com/library/...Reference.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40009590

(Apple says that it's for " Use a cellular call’s CTCall object to obtain an identifier for the call and to determine the call’s state.")

Will it solve the issue or is there other solution?
I hope it's obvious but the the question is for NON-jailbroken phones ....

In this matter, is there a way to identify text or iMessage once they have been received in the phone?

Thanks

10x - In this case, can I extract caller ID?

Hence, its incoming phone number?

Will look into , 10x ! one last thing ...

Any ideas about getting notified for messages?
The scenario: user has received iMessage or text message -> app is being notified for the event
