iDisk performance in Panther?

I'm still not sold on Panther, but the supposed improved performance/speed of the iDisk might sell me. Is it much faster than the pathetic iDisk transfer speeds in Jaguar?

The idea is that your iDisk is synced with your drive. It works great for me.
