Ok, tonight I had the "new" kernel panic (dark screen with an error in 4 languages). Ever since then, iDisk won't let me on. I get an error of -43. Any ideas? I ran Disk Permission Repair to no avail.

Oh yeah, the panic also seems to have reset my preferences-switched to 24-hour clock, reset the trackpad speed, etc. I have a new iBook 800 (it's only 6 days old!)

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Gus

Check your System Prefs, maybe your .Mac info got lost in the Kernel Panic?

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I had to go back and reset that stuff as well. If I run iDisk utility, it connects and shows that I have the information there, but I can't actually mount iDisk.

Gus

Try mounting the iDisk using the connect to server dialog (Finder > Go > Connect to server), enter the server address: afp://idisk.mac.com/your.macusername

Thanks man! The connect to server worked fine and I was able to update my website, and now my students can check their grades before their finals. Thanks again!

Regards,
Gus

P.S. I would still like to know what happened though. Weird. ;-)
