IDK if this is cause of the firmware or my phone?

My phone has always worked 100 percent fine, minus the lag, but now everytime i get a text message if i dont view it right away and the screen goes off i hit the home key and the phone doesn't respond then i hit the power key doesn't respond. it has happened 2 times now.

i just did a hard reset on the phone but like come on is this **** normal or is it the firmware.
i only got this problem now.

after i just did a hard reset it seems to be working.

i think this is the first time i restarted it after updating it.

hmm maybe it was a fluke

yeah normally after a update you should reset your phone. It's like getting any update on your computer then restarting it once it completes so it saves it in your data correctly.

^ i figured the same, but since it restarts when it does the firmware i figured i didn't have to do that. guess i was wrong lol.. u know what i mean though right?
