Idle temperatures and frequency on different 15" CPU models

Wanted to see what your idle temperatures and frequencies were on the various CPU varieties of 15" MacBook Pro.


This is with just about 10 tabs open in Safari on my lap in an air conditioned room. 2.9GHz i9, 32GB, 1TB SSD, 560X

In your signature it says your have a 2.6GHz i7 now? What are your idle temps for that?

I will check once I get it next week, but the i9 I returned with low brightness, safari tabs, iTunes, activity monitor, photoshop idles around 36C.

I would assume the i7 2.6 to be not much different.
