Just wondering if anyone in the know, do we have to idle our Apple SSD for TRIM, or if it has, Garbage Collection to do it's job, or just leave it alone, and use the MacBook Pro 2014 normally ?

Thank you in advance

It's fine just use it

I have had a 2010 MBP with after market SSD and that was fine with trim enabled.

I now have an MBPr 13 and it is absolutely fine if you just use it normally.

Thanks..

Had to ask since nothing found using good old Google about the MacBook Pro, but read about SSD's in general regarding Garbage Collection and having to let the computer idle for a good while for it to work its job.

Thanks again
