Idvd 08 Not Working Help

Idvd is not working. this is what its doing i would open it up and it would crash . well i reinstalled it and now it launches but the themes arent working. i click on a theme and the music plays but no theme its just black. so if anyone can help me out. i would really appreciate it.

How did you get it to work? I can't get mine to work either after finally installing the 10.5.6 update.

I am having the same problem with themes not showing up. Can you tell me how you solved your problem
