Hey guys,

I have a Macbook 2.0Ghz and really love it - its very fast even though i haven't upgraded the ram yet. I am using iMovie and iDVD a lot. One question though:

When you choose a theme that has drop zones but replace the background with a still image the drop zones remain. However when you replace the background with a movie the drop zones disappear.

Is there a way that i can use a movie as a background and still have drop zones - or add my own drop zones.

Hope someone can help,

Cheers

Toast is even more limited than iDVD in what it can do.

I haven't had a chance to play with iDVD 6 yet, but in earlier versions it made a difference where you dropped the background with regards to whether it wiped out the dropzones or not.

If I recall correctly, dropping into the Preview window did the wiping, while dropping it into the background well of the configuration drawer did not.

Whether I'm remebering correctly, and whether this still applies to iDVD 6 is a good question.

But at least it's something to look into...
