iDVD 7.1 green vertical line

I'm trying to put together a DVD in iDVD. When I export the project as a Disk Image, the movies that I imported all have a green line down the right hand side. The Apple menus do not have this line. I've double checked the videos before importing them with Quicktime and VLC and neither show a green line. Also when playing the videos in iDVD there is no green line either. The movies are all .m4v format from Quicktime (H.264-MPEG4-AVC 854x480, MPEG AAC Stereo 48000Hz) Does anyone have a solution?
