iDVD 7 help needed urgently

I'm trying to write a video to a dvd using iDVD and when I preview the dvd before I burn it everything works fine. But after I burn everything to a dvd and try to play it back, everything works fine but at exactly 5 minutes the audio cuts off. Does anyone know whats wrong? Its a .avi file btw.
